MK Community Choirs' Festival

Background

This year we had a sweltering time at the fifth annual MK Community Choirs' Festival on Saturday 12th July in complete contrast to last year, when we were shivering in our coats because it was so cold. Sixteen choirs joined Milton Keynes Community Choir to fill Campbell Park with song from midday right through to 8pm. We carried on the tradition begun in 2023 to have a 'Big Sing' when all the choirs were invited on stage (see photo above) to join together to sing 'Let the Light of Love'  specially written for this year's festival by Eugene Skeef and Craig McLeish.

IPhotos of the festival can be found on the  Milton Keynes Community Choir Photo Galleries webpage.

Participating Choirs

The best thing about the festival is without a doubt the opportunity to perform in an open air environment and to hear what other choirs in our area are doing and to learn from them. The festival provides the opportunity to be inspired and energised by members of other choirs, who often perform very different types of music.

Participating choirs in 2025 were Harmonise; MK Youth Choir; Hart & Soul; Music Makers of Milton Keynes; Trubys Abrahamic Women's Choir; Quorum Singers; Grand Union Community Choir; Musica Charity Choir; Adstock Singers; TGI Choir; Opus 18; SingSpace; Junction 14; MK Sweet Sound; Vocal Shack and Milton Keynes Community Choir.
