Willis Pipe Organ Festival for Heritage Open Days

Hands on the Willis Pipe Organ
A chance for any budding organists to experience the exhilaration of playing a pipe organ as compared to a piano or keyboard.
Please bring your favourite sheet music to play and notice the difference. Refreshments will be available in the parish hall. This is a free event and donations welcome towards the ongoing maintenance of the Willis organ.

Be a Chorister for the Afternoon
A free event for singers (trebles, sopranos, altos, tenors, basses) who would like to learn and sing some music for Evensong with the Willis pipe organ. Singers should be aged 8 years or over and please book in advance via

The conductor will be Marcela Campana accompanied by Jacob Collins on the organ.
Refreshments will be available in the parish hall.
Donations welcome towards the ongoing maintenance of the Willis organ.

Organ Recital by Laurence Caldecote
Laurence Caldecote will give a recital on the Willis pipe organ when the variety of tones and voices of this magnificent instrument will be enhanced by the architecture of St. Mary and St. Giles.
This is a free event with all donations being used for the ongoing maintenance of this organ.
Hot drinks and cakes will be available from 2:30pm. |

The ever-popular Joe Laredo explores how Chopin revolutionised every genre of piano music.
As TT@TT is aimed at providing lunchtime entertainment and it is fine to bring your own lunch box. Reasonably priced hot drinks and home baked cakes will be available.

Charity Concert for Stony in Bloom
Musica Charity Choir
Musica Charity Choir perform a varied concert to raise funds for 'Stony in Bloom' whose team of volunteers provide and maintain the many floral displays in the town throughout the year.
Tickets cost £12.50, and this will include a glass of wine (or soft drink) and nibbles.

Monthly Monday Organ Recitals
There will be no organ recitals during the colder months of October to March as we are unable to viably achieve a comfortable temperature in the church when the outside temperature falls below twelve degrees, Monthly organ recitals will resume on Monday 13th April 2026.
