On Monday 16th October, MKCC contributed to MK Food Bank's attempt at smashing the Guinness World Record for the longest line of cans. The choir contributed 350 cans and together with other donors lined them up in Campbell Park, Milton Keynes. The final line of 102,447 cans stretched for 10km and will provide more than half of the canned food that MK Food Bank needs for an entire year. The Food Bank now holds the official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS TM title of 'The Longest Line of Food Cans in the World'.
In addition to donating cans, the choir put on a vibrant performance that had a very appreciative audience singing and dancing along.
